We have been in a cold frunt and it just left and now it is hot again, I may bath Ferdy tonight so he looks good when the fairrer comes out to trim Faleenas hooves. I will bath her to, she does not like them so I need to work with getting her used to it any way.

It rained yesterday night and last night and all day today. I walked Mystery through some water it had some mud in it, dont know if that counts, he sunk in it enough to cover up his hoof. We are having a cold front too, and now its even colder in with the rain we got, i agree, its weird wearing a coat in September. Were supposed to have a hard winter this year, supposed to be worse than last year, last year was terrible, and also the cows will be calving, its sad, but no one takes the bulls out, it sad and plain stupid and completely human error.

I will have to dig a path for Faleena if it snows alot this year. I always dig out in front of the barn but she is so small she will notbe able to walk in a lot of snow.

I dont think they will travel much around the pasture in the winter, put the hay and water in a barn out of the wind or something and they should just hang around the hay.

Maybe that is what I will do. We use to do that with the horses b/c they had a hill in the pasture that got icey and that would discurage them from going up and down it to much.
