Since this section is empty we will use it for now.
Here is what I came up with:
Basic can be touched in all areas with a hand
leads well
ties without fighting the rope
Beginner lift and hold both front legs to the count of 10
allows strangers to approach and pet him
leads over logs and through water
Novice lifts and holds all 4 feet to the count of 10
stands patiently
will walk with a blanket/rug over his back
Intermediate allows something to be dragged behind him
can jump near him and run a tight circle around his body with him staying calm
can roll a ball underneath him without him kicking
Skilled obeys basic commands (walk, whoa, gee, haw and possibly back) under saddle/while driven
knows a trick*
can throw a ball closely over his back
Advanced can be ridden through a basic obstacle course
and knows at least 2 gaits
can be ridden in an open space
Master can be ridden/driven in a parade or in a busy, public place
advanced obstacle
knows a 2nd trick*
Expertcan be ridden by a beginner
at least 4 years old
knows all 3 gaits
*Possible Tricks: ground tie
jump
bow
stand on pedestal
back for food
roll or kick things on command
pick stuff up on cue
sit
lay on cue
double rider
stand on back
Basic Obstacle Course mailbox
back
bridge
Advanced Obstacle Course open/close gate
turn while backing
sidepass

Can you substitute water for a blue tarp or something, i dont have a creek running through the pasture, just a water tank.
Hmm.. well a tarp is a lot different than water. A tarp should be added as something they need to walk over.. I never thought about that.
Do you ever get any puddles over there?

When it down pours really hard for a short time, but most of the time the storms are at night which stinks, lol, we dont have any spouts on the barn, but i could put it next to the barn. When we get the next storm (hopefully soon cuz we need a rain) i will see how much it rains, hopefully there is puddle and ill go out there barefoot and play in the puddle with Mystery, if he goes through it, lol.

When I was little it rained real hard one day and then cleared up so my mom, sister and I went to the corner of the horses pasture and played in the mud in our bare feet. It was so fun and the horses stard at us like we were crazy.
